Overview
Jim has represented two communities who have taken action to remove their mayors due to inability to perform their duties or misconduct. In each situation Wis Stats. Chapter 17 proceedings were instituted based on sworn charges based in a verified complaint. Jim advised the council in their proceedings in accordance with the statute and drafted the decision on one and a resignation agreement on the other.
Jim has also represented several for villages, cities, towns and counties for various officer removal and disciplined under Chapter 17.
