SmithAmundsen defended a college against an employee’s discrimination and retaliation claim in Illinois federal court. The court granted motion to dismiss with prejudice of case based on misrepresentations in the plaintiff’s In Forma Pauperis (IFP) Application and subsequently filed Bankruptcy Petition. Employee appealed and SmithAmundsen successful defended dismissal order resulting in the Seventh Circuit Appellate Court upholding the dismissal with prejudice.
