Jeff Muskopf extinguished a $20M exposure in a breach of fiduciary duty lawsuit brought against a bank by numerous trust beneficiaries whose structured settlement assets were misappropriated by a successor trustee. Following investigation and discovery, Jeff prepared and argued a motion to dismiss the claims which the trial court granted. When the trial court’s order was appealed, Jeff successfully defended the trial court’s judgment in the appellate court.
