Overview

Jeff Muskopf served as lead counsel in a five week trial involving claims of fraud and breach of fiduciary duty arising from the dissolution of a law firm. Every witness in the case was a lawyer. The demand was never less than $4.5 million and the case threatened to wipe out the life savings of our client. Judgment was entered in the amount of $1.64 million—far less than expected—and on appeal it was reversed and rendered in favor of our client.
