Overview
Charles Polk sought and won legal justice for a survivor of domestic abuse. The survivor came to him due to his work with Sojourner Truth House and confided in him by giving the details of the abuse she suffered. Charles was able to cooperate with local police and other parties to hold the abuser accountable and ensure that there were severe consequences for his actions, as well as affording the survivor peace of mind.
