Overview

With a masters degree focusing on genetics and molecular biology, Yuan is accustomed to researching details, presenting evidence, articulating rules and theories, and making compelling arguments. In her legal practice, she is eager to use these skills to solve issues for her clients.

As a member of the firm’s Business Litigation Service Group, Yuan routinely represents businesses and individuals in various aspects of civil litigation, including shareholder disputes, contract disputes, premises liability claims, construction claims and personal injury claims.

As a part of our Data Privacy & Security Service Group, Yuan helps clients evaluate their terms and conditions, online cookies, and business activities to ensure their compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act, Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, and other data privacy laws and regulations. Yuan has previously worked for a leading executive search and consulting firm with a global presence, where her duties included researching and analyzing data privacy statutes and regulations in the EMEA, North America, and APAC regions that impact various industries.

Yuan is also fluent in Chinese Mandarin, and regularly serves as U.S. counsel for internationally-based clients.
