Overview

Francine’s clients would describe her as someone who is going to give you the truth, in plain language, even if it is not easy to hear. She prides herself on keeping her clients informed of the consequences of their actions, before they act.

For 17 years, Francine has skillfully navigated the intersection of legal guidance and business strategy, providing insight on everything from employment contract negotiations, to business growth through executive recruitment, to the management of multi-state teams. She counsels her clients on handbook updates, as well as risk assessment as it relates to termination, performance management, and discrimination claims. Her ability to break down and simplify complex labor and employment issues makes her an excellent business partner for her clients.

Her career as a labor and employment attorney is marked by a seamless blending of legal acumen and human resource skills. She is dedicated to fostering work environments that are compliant, supportive and inclusive. Francine operates on the principle that aligning with clients' definitions of success is key; she is an asset to organizations looking for comprehensive knowledge in employment matters.

Prior to her current role, she worked at a nonprofit organization whose mission was to replace politics with problem-solving. This gave her a wealth of knowledge and real life experience in navigating tough conversations. For the past five years, she’s worked with startups, enjoying the speed and chaos that came with the transition of brainstorm to inception.

Francine is an avid speaker, sharing her knowledge in webcasts, seminars, podcasts, and on stage. From sexual harassment to conversations about diversity, she prides herself on being her client’s go-to resource.

Outside the office, Francine enjoys watching documentaries, reading a new novel, and brushing up on her French and Spanish.
