Overview

Natalie’s (She/Her) first medical malpractice trial is one she won’t forget. Not only did she win on a directed verdict, but it was the first time she got to see the whole picture and how litigation impacts clients. She goes above and beyond to provide her clients with the most efficient and effective solution.

As a member of the firm’s Health Care Service Group, Natalie defends hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care staff in medical malpractice cases. She handles matters relating to complex vascular injuries, opioid over prescribing, misdiagnoses and failures to diagnose. Natalie also defends religious and nonprofit institutions in sexual abuse claims.

Outside the office, Natalie serves as a co-chair to the Judicial Evaluation Committee with the Black Women's Lawyer Association, tutors law students for the Bar, and serves as a volunteer judge for collegiate Mock Trial. Natalie is a Board Member on the Kimball R. and Karen Gatsis Anderson Center for Advocacy and Professionalism through the University of Illinois College of Law, where she helps prepare law students for litigation work. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her dog, bowling, reading, and watching movies.
