Overview
Chicago-Kent College of Law hosts a panel focusing on the state of cannabis law in the New Year. Michael McGrory joins other insiders at this program, covering where cannabis law stands in 2017. Highlights of the program will include:
- Illinois’ Medical Cannabis Program
- Federal medical cannabis law, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)
- Bankers and taxes
- Ethics of practicing marijuana law including Illinois ethics rules, multi-state practices and when lawyers are patients
