Overview

Amundsen Davis defended a hospital against an employee’s claims of race discrimination in Cook County Circuit Court alleging that the hospital violated the Illinois Human Rights Act when it discharged the employee because of her race.  The state court granted summary judgment against the employee’s claim and dismissed the lawsuit, finding that the hospital terminated the employee for legitimate, lawful reasons.
