Overview
Obtained dismissal in matter involving allegations that plaintiff was sexually assaulted by her masseuse. Allegations centered on the company’s failure to conduct a criminal background check (which would have revealed no criminal arrests or convictions) and failure to have a system in place where patrons could be monitored and not left alone with a masseuse of the opposite sex. Ultimately, depositions revealed plaintiff’s story was concocted. The matter was voluntarily dismissed by the plaintiff.
