Debra Mastrian obtained dismissal of a federal agency action against a client operating group homes for developmentally disabled individuals. She successfully resolved a sex discrimination case involving class-wide allegations after showing that gender based assignments were done for legitimate reasons that were necessary for the client’s business operations (a bona fide occupational qualification – BFOQ – for accommodating privacy interests of the client’s consumers).
