Overview

Following a 2-day evidentiary hearing, Amundsen Davis obtained a ruling in favor of our client, an industrial dairy farm in Wisconsin, denying a Motion for Preliminary Injunction filed by the plaintiff, an investment group based out of Chicago. Specifically, Judge Cassling of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois found in favor of our client with respect to each element of the preliminary injunction analysis, thereby preventing the plaintiff’s interference with our client’s dairy operation and permitting our client’s continued use of a certain product that increases animal health and welfare. Following the evidentiary hearing, Judge Cassling also granted our client’s Motion to Compel Arbitration, furthering the interests of our client.
