Overview

Mark Sickles successfully a defended a driver involved in a motor vehicle accident. The plaintiff was a passenger, who claimed that he was seriously injured and that his renal failure was a consequence of the accident. The plaintiff’s demand was more than $2 million. Upon reviewing medical records and taking a deposition of the treating physician, the renal failure claims and associated damages of more than $500,000 were withdrawn. Mark successfully resolved the case for a reasonable sum, which was considerably less than the initial demand.
