We are pleased to announce that Terence Smith has joined the firm as a partner in the Labor & Employment Service Group in Chicago. With 25 years of private practice advocacy and client-side decision-making, Terence represents employers nationwide in employment and traditional labor matters. This background allows him to anticipate client concerns, cut through complexity, and deliver solutions that align with employer goals.
Terence has more than 10 years of private practice experience representing employers across a diverse industries. He has appeared before federal and appellate courts, state agencies, mediators, and arbitrators nationwide. Prior to joining Amundsen Davis, Terence served as the lead labor relations representative for a college, managing all aspects of its relationships with multiple unions, including day-to-day liaising and contract administration, advising management, handling grievances, and negotiating collective bargaining agreements.
