Senior Counsel Peter J. Smiley Joins Amundsen Davis

Our firm is happy to announce that Senior Counsel Peter J. Smiley has joined our Trusts, Estates & Succession Planning Service Group in our Brookfield office.

Peter has experience planning for those with complex or large estates. Business owners, investors, professionals, executives, and those with complex family dynamics seek him out to discuss planning for their unique situations.

Additionally, Peter creates tax and estate planning strategies for large liquidity events, such as the sale of a business or proceeds from a legal action, and has experience planning for unusual or unique assets, such as art, vehicles, collectables, property held in other countries, and sentimental items. He also works with business owners to consult on their business' operations, growth, and succession planning, and has worked with a number of startups from foundation through sale.
