We are pleased to announce that two new attorneys, Diandra Abate and Matthew Groski, have joined the firm’s Workers' Compensation Service Group. Both bring extensive experience in workers’ compensation defense to the firm, strengthening its already-significant capabilities in labor and employment matters.

Diandra Abate defends employers, insurers, and carriers against workers’ compensation and subrogation claims. She works proactively with claims specialists, third-party administrators, and insureds to attain cost effective resolution of client issues. Diandra is a seasoned litigator with experience arguing complex matters before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and state courts. She received her B.A. from Augustana College and J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.

Matthew Gorski is a fierce advocate and litigator. He defends insurance companies and businesses across a wide variety of industries against workers’ compensation claims. Matthew has over a decade of experience successfully representing his clients before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission and state courts. He is a seasoned speaker on handling workers’ compensation claims, law updates, ethics, and risk management. He received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and J.D. from The John Marshall Law School.
