Congratulations to Alan Farkas for being awarded the 2022 Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chairman’s Award to honor his contributions to EAA and to the general field of aviation.

In his time with EAA, Alan has worked for both the organization and assisted members with a variety of legal and FAA-related issues. He has served on the Legal Advisory Council of EAA since 2005, and was the chairman from 2011 to 2021. You can see the past winners of the Chairman’s Award here. Join us in congratulating Alan! 

EAA was founded in 1953 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a group to organize and assist amateur aircraft builders. They currently have over 250,000 members.
