Chris is often sought out by those seeking trusted counsel for emerging disputes. His many long-term clients appreciate his efforts in obtaining quick resolutions. Born and raised in the Cleveland area, he has spent the past decades developing a national health care, employment, and business litigation practice. While he represents clients nationally, Chris oversees the firm's Cleveland office as co-managing partner.
While Chris’s clients appreciate his efforts to help them avoid costly lawsuits, he is no stranger to contentious litigation. Chris is resolute but flexible when guiding clients through complex litigation matters and administrative processes. Chris assists many multi-district litigation clients with complex litigation across the country. He has represented numerous medium and large health systems, medical providers, physician groups, and long-term care facilities in litigation related to provider privileges, fiduciary breaches, contract claims, and medical staff employment events. He also defends wound care companies and large medical laboratories throughout Ohio and the country.
In an effort to avoid costly court intervention, Chris regularly advises his health care and business clients on corporate governance and employment risk mitigation. Chris enjoys serving his businesses and health care clients as their outside general counsel.
Chris is active in civic organizations throughout the community, including Ohio food insecurity outreach programs and his church. He has also been selected as a Cleveland Judicial Forum invitee and is an active Justinian Forum member and an OSBA Corporate Counsel participant.
