Overview
Chris is often sought out by those seeking outside-the-box counsel. His many long-term clients appreciate his efforts in obtaining quick resolutions. Born and raised in the Cleveland area, he has spent the past decade developing a national healthcare, employment, and business litigation practice. While he represents clients nationally, Chris maintains the firm's Cleveland presence.
While Chris’s clients appreciate his efforts to help them avoid costly lawsuits, he is no stranger to contentious litigation. When everything is on the line, Chris’s calm demeanor is a benefit to his individual and business clients as he guides them through complex litigation matters, as well as administrative processes. Chris assists many multi-district litigation clients with complex litigation across the country and represents numerous medium and large health systems, medical providers, and physician groups in litigation related to provider privileges and medical staff employment events. He also defends wound care companies and long-term care facilities throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.
In addition to litigation, Chris advises physician groups and hospitals regarding corporate governance and employment risk mitigation. He also represents physicians and providers before the Ohio Medical Board and other state administrative agencies. Chris is often retained by businesses and health care practices to serve as outside general counsel.
In addition to his legal practice, Chris is active in civic organizations throughout the community, including Ohio food insecurity outreach programs. He has also been a Cleveland Judicial Forum Invitee, an active Justinian Forum member, and an OSBA Corporate Counsel Participant.
When not litigating, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He is active in their extracurricular activities, including coaching his kids in numerous athletic endeavors.
