Danielle knew from an early age she would be an attorney. Her mother was a paralegal and she would often go to work with her and get lost in the large file rooms. She’s always had an interest in the legal process and advocating for people’s rights.
As a member of the firm’s Hospitality, Media & Tourism Service Group, Danielle defends hotels, restaurants and individuals in a variety of claims, including dram shop liability, personal injury, product liability and breach of contract. She also defends free speech rights, defamation and false light claims for media clients, businesses and individuals.
Outside the office, Danielle and her husband enjoy going to golf tournaments and spending time with their Italian Greyhound, Levi.

Defamation or Comedy? Lion King Composer’s Lawsuit Tests the Limits of Reputation ProtectionA new lawsuit filed by Lebohang “Lebo M” Morake, the Grammy‑winning composer behind the iconic opening chant in Disney’s The Lion King, raises important questions about defamation, comedy, and reputational harm.
Morake has sued comedian Learnmore “Jonasi” Mwanyenyeka for $27 million, alleging that a joking “translation” of the chant during a podcast appearance damaged his reputation by misrepresenting the meaning of the lyrics to a global audience.
