Evan Thomsen

Associate

Overview

With a deep appreciation for the art of advocacy, Evan's own ability to represent his clients effectively can be attributed in part to his attentiveness. Notably, he is an observer of more seasoned attorneys at trial, absorbing how they masterfully craft arguments while weaving in themes yet still remaining authentic. This drive  to continue learning coupled with his attention to detail ensures he fights for his clients to get the best result possible every time.

As a member of the firm's Business Litigation Service Group, Evan defends clients against personal injury, property damage, and a variety of business litigation claims, primarily businesses in the manufacturing, insurance, transportation, heavy machinery, and medical products industries. He has practical experience defending businesses at every stage of litigation in state and federal court, from pleadings and discovery to trial preparation and courtroom representation. In addition to his private practice experience, Evan also worked as the sole law clerk to Chief Justice Annette Kingsland Ziegler of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

In his free time, Evan enjoys flying, chess, and golf.
