Overview
Lisa is an experienced attorney with more than 23 years of legal acumen gained by successfully representing large municipalities, individuals, private and public corporations and government agencies. Her work spans a range of legal matters including construction law, environmental law, real estate law, products and premises liability and appellate work, in multiple jurisdictions, before both state and federal courts and administrative tribunals.
As a member of the firm’s Construction Service Group, Lisa engages in a wide-range of transactional and litigation services for construction industry clients, including with contract drafting, contract bidding and negotiations, pre-award contract review, and counseling on contract administration and performance. She also handles mechanics lien and payment and performance bond claims, claims and litigation resolution, including bid protests and other procurement issues or disputes, and the handling and overseeing of construction defect claims. Lisa has more than a decade of experience filing and defending bid protests and a honed familiarity with the negotiation of and disputes concerning government contracts and public projects.
Lisa previously served as Associate General Counsel- Southeast Region for American Traffic Solutions (ATS) n/k/a Verra Mobility and Deputy General Counsel for the Illinois Tollway. Lisa is respected for her astuteness and persuasiveness in all phases of litigation, including not only her strong motion, discovery and pleading practice, but her fervent advocacy of her client’s interests.
