The Illinois Municipal League Review’s April 2017 issue features an article by Julie Proscia where she discusses gender identity issues and changes in the workplace. Transgender rights have been one of the more talked about legal topics this past year, and there has been increased movement to adopt and promote laws that prohibit discrimination against LGBT people. They talk about questions that many employers have including:

- What accommodations are reasonable and how do you accommodate an individual whose gender expression is different than their gender identity?
