Amendments to Federal Rule of Evidence 902 have made it easier than ever to introduce data from digital devices, social media and Google Maps images in court. In a recent article, titled “Hey Alexa, Can I Introduce Your Evidence At Trial?” and published in The Circuit Rider, Alan Farkas discusses evidence collected from digital devices. In the article Alan points out the wealth of information contained by Amazon Echo, Fitbits, GPS trackers and social media applications that is admissible in court.
