EEOC's Updated Guidance on Workplace Harassment

In April, 2024, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued the long awaited "Enforcement Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace" which encompassed practical and legal developments from the past two decades. The article in the July/ August 2024 issue of Hoosier Banker, titled, "EEOC's Updated Guidance on Workplace Harassment," provides points on several key takeaways from the new guidance and recommends employers to update their harassment policies to include examples of conduct that are acceptable.
