Overview
We represented a municipality that required specific fees to be paid for specific permits as defined by the municipality’s code of ordinances. The permitting fee was applied to the Wisconsin Tax Appeals Commission as an improper tax. We successfully helped the municipality navigate appearances before the commission and successfully negotiated the matter to settlement.
