In 2020, Jennifer prevailed in obtaining dismissal of a non-compete lawsuit in Cook County Illinois despite arguments that the validity of the non-compete was not a question of law suitable for a motion to dismiss, where the non-compete included language which was too general to give the former employee notice of what the non-compete purported to restrict the employee from doing.
