Obtained Favorable Ruling Vacating Default Judgment

Amundsen Davis obtained a favorable ruling vacating a default judgment which had been entered in favor of the plaintiffs for amounts exceeding the policy limits in a very plaintiff friendly venue in southern Illinois.  Although the case was assigned to Amundsen Davis for handling well beyond 30 days after the default judgment had been entered, Amundsen Davis convinced the trial court to vacate the default judgment and eventually settled the case well within the policy limits.
