Obtained Summary Judgment on Behalf of a Special Purpose Government Agency in a Construction Negligence and Products Liability Action

Gerald Rohrer obtained summary judgment on behalf of a special purpose government agency responsible for wastewater treatment and stormwater management in Illinois in a construction negligence/products liability action wherein the plaintiff was injured by falling debris from a mining machine used in the construction of the agency’s deep tunnel project. The trial court found a lack of duty owed to the plaintiff by the owner of the construction project.
