Successfully Represented a Law Enforcement Officer and Municipality in Federal District Court Against Allegations of Using Excessive Force

Amundsen Davis represented a law enforcement officer and municipality in federal district court against accusations that the officer violated an individual’s constitutional rights through the use of excessive force in violation of the Constitution. The officer and municipality were facing a lawsuit for damages under 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Due to our diligence during discovery, we were able to convince the plaintiff to voluntarily dismiss the case against our clients based on the evidence presented.
