We are pleased to announce that Daniel Zukerman has joined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in its Tax Service Group.
Daniel advises multinational corporations, equity funds, financial institutions, and other businesses on complex federal tax matters. His practice includes transaction advisory, tax controversy, and regulatory matters, with experience spanning corporate and partnership tax, international tax, transfer pricing, mergers and acquisitions, digital assets, energy credits, and emerging industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was a senior attorney with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and a senior tax advisor at Big 4 firms. His experience in government and private practice provides informs his perspective on tax planning, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Daniel helps clients evaluate risk, navigate IRS scrutiny, and pursue strategic opportunities with confidence.
Daniel earned his LL.M. in taxation from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and B.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
