The National Black Lawyers is a membership organization dedicated to honoring and advancing black lawyers in America. It's annual "Top 40 Under 40" recognition acknowledges members under the age of 40 who have demonstrated excellence in the legal profession. This marks Jorie's second recognition as an NBL "Top 40 Under 40 in Illinois" attorney, having also been recognized in 2025.
