Kathleen Michel Kivarkis

Associate

Overview

The daughter of immigrants, Kathleen was raised to be adaptable and maintain her composure in unfamiliar situations. This mindset is reflected in the way she practices law. When a case becomes complex, a strategy hits a roadblock, or circumstances shift, she does not become discouraged. Instead, she pivots, reassesses, and identifies strategic alternatives.

As a member of the firm's Transportation & Logistics Service Group, Kathleen counsels transportation clients on matters including regulatory compliance, risk management, property damage, personal injury, and more. Understanding that clients seek legal representation in moments of uncertainty, transition, or complexity, she pays as much attention to the legal strategy as she does making her clients feel heard, supported, and respected.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Kathleen worked in higher education, where she worked with diverse stakeholders to solve complex, often sensitive issues. This environment sharpened her analytical thinking and strengthened her ability to nuanced problems into clear, actionable solutions.
