Overview
Laurie serves as a trusted advisor and advocate for employers in a variety of industries. Her clients appreciate her responsiveness, willingness to listen, and her understanding of their business. Laurie counsels employers on issues related to wage and hour, wrongful termination, discrimination and retaliation, and more.
Laurie is confident advocating for her clients in the courtroom. She previously served as Assistant Attorney General where she routinely argued motions in court and tried cases before judges and hearing officers. As an Assistant Attorney General, Laurie worked on a variety of matters, including labor, employment, and novel issues facing state agencies. Laurie draws on this experience when she helps employers navigate legal controversies involving government agencies.
