“One long-term issue arising from COVID-19 will be future litigation resulting from the invoking of force majeure clauses,” said Roger M. Yaffe, CEO of USLAW NETWORK.

USLAW NETWORK’s newly released COVID-19 Force Majeure Compendium of Law seeks to provide an Indiana exemplar on relevant considerations with respect to invoking “force majeure” clauses in contracts in light of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. This compendium provides further guidance and focuses on issues such as the requirement to obtain relief using force majeure and the possible scope of that relief.

The full Indiana Force Majeure Law Compendium can be read on USLAW's website here.
