Amundsen Davis prevailed on a motion to dismiss based on lack of diligence in effecting service of process under Illinois Supreme Court Rule 103(b). The plaintiff filed negligence claims against a multinational trucking company but waited more than ten months to issue summons. The Cook County court granted the motion and dismissed the trucking company from the case with prejudice.
