Overview
Kelly is a seasoned business litigator who represents businesses of all sizes, primarily in the manufacturing, heath care, and medical product industries. As a member of the firm's General Liability and Health Care service groups, she provides thoughtful and strategic counsel to clients facing general negligence, breach of contract, or product liability claims, as well as businesses with trade secrets claims or post-employment contract claims.
Drawing on her experience in legal, privacy, and compliance roles at a local health care system, Kelly brings a deep understanding of the operational realities her health care clients face. She advises on HIPAA compliance, training, and auditing; provides guidance on Stark Law and Anti‑Kickback Statute issues and contract review; conducts risk assessments; and assists with the development and implementation of policies, including those related to information blocking.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning private practice, government, and in-house roles, Kelly understands each case is more nuanced than its facts. She takes a big‑picture approach to every matter, helping clients understand how potential outcomes align with their business goals and long‑term objectives.
