Major Employment Law Reform is coming to Illinois – Impacting ALL Manufacturers & Businesses.

Senate Bill 1480 passed in Springfield and now awaits consideration by the Governor.  The legislation’s main focus for employers involves two central pillars:

1) Limiting and greatly regulating an employer’s ability to use a Criminal Conviction in the application process or during the employment relationship; and

2) Creating new burdens and mandates that will require most employers to obtain an “Equal Pay Certificate” through the State of Illinois as well as requiring employers with 100 or more employees to file information with the State of Illinois similar to the information required to be reported to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission via the EEO-1 Report.

Join Jeff Risch for this 60-minute webcast where he identifies what employers need to know on how recruiting, hiring, terminating, and paying workers may change.
