Congratulations to Tim Feldhausen, who received the Outstanding Eagle Scout Award (NOESA) from the Bay-Lakes Council and the National Eagle Scout Association, Boy Scouts of America. The National Eagle Scout Association Committee, as part of Alumni Relations at the Boy Scouts of America’s national office, selects the recipients of this award. Tim accepted the award during the Eagle Celebration Program at the Bay-Lakes Council Convention this past Saturday.

The Outstanding Eagle Scout Award was implemented in 2010 in conjunction with the Boy Scout of America’s 100th anniversary, and is awarded to Eagle Scouts who have demonstrated outstanding achievement at the local, state or regional level. Recipients have distinguished themselves in their life’s work and their community and inspired others through their actions and have devoted a lifetime to their profession, avocation, community, and beliefs. Previous recipients include famous authors, explorers, television personalities, military flag officers, scientists, government officials, and prominent businessmen.

Tim, who earned Eagle Scout in 1984, comes from a Scouting family. His father, who was also a scout, encouraged both Tim and his brother Tom to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, which is the highest rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America. Tim’s son Josiah also received his Eagle Scout in 2022.  Tim believes that the principles of Scouting prepare young people for success, helping them learn confidence, which become leadership. For Tim, the principles helped him from his service in the U.S. Navy to law school to his work now. Tim also received the Silver Beaver Award from the Bay-Lakes Council in 2022, which is the highest recognition a local Council can award a volunteer leader. He currently serves as the Vice President of District Operations for the Bay-Lakes Council.

Only five others have previously received the NOESA from the Bay-Lakes Council. Tim was joined by two prominent business leaders in northeast Wisconsin also received the award this year.

Despite his being “rather stunned” by the award, we know it is well deserved for all of the great work Tim has done with the Boy Scouts of America and our firm!
