Overview
As a trusted advisor Julie challenges her clients to think differently about issues and processes in order to achieve the best possible results. She offers a full range of commercial real estate law services involving the finance, acquisition, sale, lease and development of complex multi-million-dollar real estate projects in Wisconsin and throughout the United States. Julie represents banks and other lending institutions, developers, individual and corporate investors as well as REITs, owners, landlords and tenants.
As a member of the firm’s Real Estate, Zoning & Public Finance Service Group, Julie represents both lenders and borrowers in various types of commercial real estate financing transactions, including acquisition, development and construction lending. Her experience also includes CMBS loans, PACE financing, loan defeasances, syndicated loan transactions and interest rate swap transactions. She handles finance and other real estate matters for all asset classes including healthcare, multifamily, office, retail, industrial and mixed-use. Her practice also includes the representation of lenders in informal workouts, financial restructuring and forbearance arrangements when loans become troubled.
In addition to real estate finance, Julie’s experience extends to asset-based finance (including equipment, inventory and receivables financing), working capital lines of credit and various other complex commercial loan facilities.
Julie’s practice also includes representation with respect to other real estate matters such as acquisitions and divestitures, commercial leasing for all asset classes on a nationwide basis and serving as local counsel in connection with the issuance of legal opinions in support of commercial finance transactions.
